First Baptist Church 

Brother Ben Greenwell grew up just outside of Deale, MD.  He started attending First Baptist under the youth ministry of Park Sutton in 1998.  Ben grew in his knowledge of the Lord but did not get saved until 2002.  After receiving Christ as his Savior, he attended Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, OK.  During his time there, he and Grace McCullough, who had also attended the youth ministry at First Baptist, came home to get married. They returned to finish their degrees and followed God's leading back to Deale where they began leading the Children's Ministry.  At the resignation of the previous Youth Pastor in 2008, Bro. Ben stepped into the role and has since been serving faithfully. Together, Bro. Ben and Ms. Grace have ministered to hundreds of teenagers and children, led many to Christ, and seen some go into ministry.

 

Brother Ben earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies from Heartland Baptist Bible College, Oklahoma City, OK

He earned a second Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from University of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ and has been an elementary school teacher in Arlington, VA since 2014.

 

Ms. Grace earned her Bachelor's Degree in Church Education from Heartland Baptist Bible College, Oklahoma City, OK.

Ms. Grace has owned and operated a successful daycare business since 2011.
